Books are my addiction. I love being taken on an adventure. Take me outside of my life and let me travel to new and exciting places.
In this section, I will give brief comments on recent books that I read.
12/2011 I am usually not a person who reads historical, let alone time travel or Scottish. Let’s just say, I would have never picked up “Going Back for Romeo” if a very good friend hadn’t written it, buy Oh My God! I thoroughly enjoyed this read. L.L. Muir has some wonderful characters and twists throughout her book that you don’t put it down. You fall in love with the Hero and you are truly cheering the Heroine on. It ended on such a high note that I can’t wait for the next one. If you’re looking for a great read, you can find it on e-readers now.
I finished “Angels and Demons” by Dan Brown. To explain, I had started it and set it aside. Scott finished reading it and told me that I should finish it as well. So, I did. And let me tell you, I was pissed! Why do writers have to make their characters do something so out of character that they appear TSTL? (too stupid to live). There was no reason that Langdon had to go off by himself, without the highly trained, Swiss police to try and capture the Hassassin. Get his butt kick? Yeah he got his butt kicked – stupid. But, did I like the book – yeah, get rid of the author intrusions and stupid putting in for fatting the word count problems, and you’ve got one excellent story. Who knew who the culprit was – I Didn’t!!!
